New for 2020...

A NEW and exciting children's club for 2 1/2 - 4 year old's, where children and adults grow together!

Our aim;

  • To engage and develop children's love for stories, with the use of stimulating and visual props.
  • To teach children about their natural world around them.
  • To offer opportunities to explore through investigating different materials, textures and techniques.
  • To create awe and wonder.
  • To celebrate that we are all unique.
  • To enjoy  the process of the activities not just the outcome.
  • To develop fine and gross motor skills.

Eat what you grow!

Each week we will follow a theme, starting off with an introduction to the mystery basket!

I wonder what will be in there?

Together we will share a story using visual props to engage and stimulate the children's senses.

The children will then explore two activities; one being a growing activity and the other a craft one, whilst still following the theme of the session.

Throughout the 6 weeks we will be growing cress, potatoes, runner beans, sunflowers, carrots, lettuce leaves, peas, herbs and wild flowers!

Your child will be able to take home their makes to display and their gardening activity to nurture, watch grow and then eat!

How do I book?

Our NEW Craft and Growers sessions are bookable in 6 week blocks.  Each week will be a different exciting theme! We keep our group size to six children to enable us to deliver something rather unique and special to our Mini Craft and Growers! Each child booked onto the session needs to be accompanied by their grown up and be willing to support their child if required.

These sessions are run by me Tracey Dallow and I hold an

Enhanced DBS  and i'm first aid trained.

I have a creative background and I have been teaching in the Early Years Foundation stage for the past 9 years. I am an advocate for outdoor learning and children's gardening. I currently teach a nursery class in a local school and I am also currently undertaking my Forest School Level 3 Leadership Certificate.
